Product review- Rimmel Kate Moss gel liner in Emerald

I was so excited to try this, I'd been lusting after it for weeks, and when I saw it on offer for £4.99 I couldn't resist. I thought the colour was absolutely gorgeous, and had so many ideas on how to use it. However once I opened it to try it out, I was so disappointed, the colour was so dull, nothing like it looked on the box. I used it as a regular gel liner, and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between this and the black gel liner I use. The consistency of the gel is really nice, and it's very easy to apply , however I did have to use a different brush to apply it, the one provided isn't angled or flat enough to apply a straightline with, and the product feels gloopy on the brush. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product,it does what it is meant to very well, but I bought this as an alternative to the regular black gel liner, and was extremely disappointed when the colour wasn't true to the one on the box, it is very dull and dark, with no sparkle or shimmer, which was not what I was expecting/hoping for.
