NYX haul!

I am so so excited about the fact that NYX has come to Boots! And I've definitely spent a small fortune on their products over the last week or so, but ugh! they're all so beautiful! I love NYX for two reasons; they're very good quality, and very reasonably priced. It's brands like this that makes good quality products accessible to people who can't afford to spend a fortune on high end makeup brands and I really love that about them. The products are all very easy to use, highly pigmented and long lasting, I don't understand why NYX isn't as hyped as other brands, just look at all the pretties!

Here's a list of the products from left to right:

1. Slide on, Glide on, Stay on & Definitely a turn on waterproof, extreme shine eyeliner (this eyeliner is so good the name had to be this long!) in the shades 'Esmeralda', 'Purple Blaze' and 'Azure'. I couldn't resist these colours, the name definitely sums up the products perfectly, they're nice and creamy so they do just glide on (perfect for those who struggle with liner) the shades are so beautiful, and they really do stay put!

2. Gel liner and smudger in the shade 'Teal'. I've been searching everywhere for a colourful gel liner as I've been wanting to experiment more with different looks, and break away from people thinking that black liner is the only way to go, and when I saw this colour I knew my search was over, it's such a gorgeous shade, I use an angled liner brush to apply the product and it just goes on so seamlessly, and once it's dried it basically bulletproof, there is nothing you can do make the product budge, it's amazing!

3. Eyebrow gel shade 'Chocolate'. I literally spent about 20 minutes looking through and testing all the eyebrow products, I've always just used a fairly cheap brow pencil, but have been wanting to branch out and try different products, at first I was put off this because it is a gel, and I wasn't sure how easy it would be to apply, but it's so simple, I just use a tiny angled brush and trace out the shape I want for my brows, and then simply fill them in, the product once again does not smudge, the shade is really nice and natural, and the finish is amazing, I will genuinely never go back to brow pencils now, this product makes my brows look 100x better.

4 & 5. Soft matte lip cream in shades ' Monte Carlo' and ' Prague' I've used the lip creams in different shades, but I just had to add these to my collection, 'Monte Carlo' is a beautiful deep red, and 'Prague' is a really nice fun pink shade. The formula is really beautiful, it's really nice and thick, has about 3-4 hours wear and doesn't bleed. I recommend these to anyone looking for a good matte lippy.

6. Ombre blush shade 'Strictly chic' I didn't get to test this product, and bought it on a bit of a whim, I always use pink blushers, and wanted to try something a bit different. This is really beautiful, but it's not as pigmented as I had hoped, having said that, it really is a beautiful coral shade (perfect for a more summery look) , and the formula feels really nice and creamy, I'd definitely be open to trying out the other shades in this product.

7. Matte Bronzer in 'Medium' I've been looking everywhere for an affordable contour colour which doesn't look muddy on my skin, and this shade is perfect. It's a really lovely product, which blends really nicely. It's got a high pigment, so you don't need a lot of product, which definitely makes it a lot more natural.

8. Illuminator in 'Enigmatic' jhgunfiuhfsbn!! Just look at it! Look!! It's so so beautiful! I was so happy when I came across this highlighter, it's really nice to find a shade that isn't icy or slightly yellow. It's so shimmery and beautiful, I use this product over top of a liquid highlight, but it's extremely beautiful on it's own. I basically could not say anything bad about this, it's just so beautiful!

9. Studio finishing powder. I bought this as I've been looking everywhere for a white finishing powder, to use to bake my highlighter, it's a really good product, however, it's so thin that it gets absolutely everywhere, it's difficult to apply because it is so light weight, but once you get the hang of it, it's a really lovely product. I will say that you really have to make sure that it's blended well, and I would check it in different lights, just to make sure that all the excess product is removed. It has good matte finish, and it really does make your skin look flawless.

I'll be posting a look I created using most of these products soon, so keep posted :)
