I've really been loving using brighter colours lately, don't get me wrong, I love the nude shades, but it is nice to stand out a bit sometimes and do something a bit different to the trends at the moment. To create this look I used 'Harlot' from the Urban Decay vice palette and placed it all over my lid (on top of a primer) I then took 'Pandemonium' from the same palette and placed it on the outer two thirds of my lid, ensuring to blend the two colours together nicely, finally for my top lid I took 'Deadbeat' and gently placed that on the very outer corner of my eye, into a sort of wing shape, once again ensuring all the colours were blended well. Once I had finished with the shadows, I used a pen liner to create a wing, and to make my eyes look larger. I then went in with Benefit's 'they're real' primer and mascara to really make the look come together.
Next I used Benefits 'porefessional' as a primer all over my face and went in with GOSH cosmetics liquid drops foundation and a damp beauty blender. Once I was happy with the coverage, I took Max-Factor's under eye concealer and placed it under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, onto my forehead, on my cupids bow and chin, I then went in with the same damp beauty blender as before and blended with well into my face, I made sure this wouldn't crease with a translucent powder, before moving onto my contour, blusher and highlight.
I then went back to my eyes as I wasn't happy with the look yet, I placed a white liner on my water line to widen and brighten my eyes. I then used 'Underhand' from the Vice palette and placed it under my bottom lash line. I then used a blender brush to make it look more natural, I finished off with some mascara on my bottom lashes, and a small amount of highlighter right on the inner corner of my eye, just to complete the look.
Finally I took Rimmel's 'under my spell' Lipstick, as I thought it was such a beautiful bright shade to bring the whole look together and make it pop.
I really love this look, It's nice and bright without being too much. I just felt it was a nice and summery look, and it would brighten up my day.
