I know it's not make up, but it's a beauty product, and I feel like I have tried thousands of self tanning products before finding one that actually works, without leaving streaks or patches, so I thought I'd better let you guys know about it :)
Before applying this product I gave myself a good scrub with an exfoliator, doing this gets rid of any dead skin cells, which basically helps you to get a good all over coverage without leaving bright orange patches all over your skin. This product is so easy to use, all you have to do is spray it all over from a distance (I would recommend standing on a dark coloured towel while doing so, to save making a mess and staining anything) you don't have to rub it in at all, which is so good because 1. it stops you getting orange hands, and 2. it makes it less likely to become streaky. I would also recommend that you bend your knees and elbows when applying it to those areas to avoid it collecting in the creases and becoming patchy.
This is such a good product simply because it looks nice and natural, it has such a good coverage, it takes between 4-6 hours to become noticeable, ( it states on the bottle that you should wear dark baggy clothing for this period of time) but I have found that as long as you make sure you are completely dry before clothing yourself, the product won't stain your clothes or become patchy. for the first week of using it I would apply it once a day, to allow the product to build up, I would then say it lasts about two weeks. After the two weeks, I start the process over again ensuring that I have exfoliated and that there isn't any left over product on my skin.
This particular product is made for your body, but I have used it on my face as well, and as long as I rub it in around my nose, it doesn't become patchy. I really love this product because it does look so natural, I really don't think there's anything worse than being able to tell that someone has used fake tan.
But like I said it has taken me so many years to find a product that I am actually happy with. I buy this from Wilkos at the moment as it is on offer for just over £5 but I think when it's not on sale it varies from anywhere between £6-£8.99 depending on where you purchase it. I think for the quality of the product the price is so great, considering that fake tan can be a lot more expensive.
