Before and after.

I had so much fun doing this makeup, to start off the look I used lovely rose gold colours on her eyes and then went in with a highlighting shade in the inner corner to really make the eyes look wider and more awake. I then used a very thin coat of gel liner on the outer third of her eye lid and then a black kohl liner under her eyelashes just to give the look a bit more definition, I then finished off her eyes with a some white liner on her water line to make her eyes look wider and a touch of mascara to both her top and bottom lashes.

For her face I used a foundation that you can build up for a full coverage, I then went in with a green colour corrector around the corner of her nose to cover up any red patches, and then an orange corrector to disguise the dark circles under her eyes. I blended these in using a concealer under her eyes which I also used to highlight her cheekbones and to even more conceal her under eye circles. I then went in with highlighter down the bridge of her nose, the centre of her forehead, her cupids bow and her chin. I did this to make these parts of her face more prominent. I then went in with a darker contouring shade and placed this under her cheekbones, along her jaw line, down the sides of her nose, her temples and along her hair line. This is a great technique for making the face look slimmer and more defined. I then went in with a lovely warm pink shade of blusher on the apples of her cheeks, and dragged it up right above the contour line. After blending this in, I used a beautiful shimmery highlighter and blended it into the blusher and up around her brows. I then put a small amount of highlight under where I placed the contour, and the placed a large amount of powder over this, and left it for a few mintues to let it bake. I did this as it just makes the contour line more defined, and because it gives a lovely contrast and highlight to the lower part of her face. After this I went back in with the translucent powder all over just to make everything set.

I then went in and filled in her eyebrows with a pencil, and a small amount of eyeshadow, just to make them look fuller, I then set these with a clear eyebrow gel. And placed a small amount of shimmer powder right under her arch, and then blended it out, just to give the brow a bit of highlight, and to tie it in with her eye makeup.

To finish the look off I added a touch of lipstick in a lovely pale red shade, and topped it off with a small amount of gloss, to make the look more youthful.

I am so happy with how this look turned out, I feel like it is very glamourous, and it was lovely to create it on someone who very rarely wears makeup. I feel this is very approriate for her age but also still quite youthful with the touch of pink in her cheeks and the small amount of gloss on her lips.
